A blessed retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Nothing you have to do.
Nowhere you have to go.
Just peace and quiet and rest.
There are many ways to create sanctuary. One of my favorites involves cozy pajamas and a book.
When was the last time you gave yourself the luxury of a good read?
Or cuddled up with your favorite little person and a teetering pile of picture books?
If your answer is not "oh, just yesterday" then we need to talk, because that is the easiest kind of sanctuary to create. All you need is a chair and a book.
(Crackling fires and blankies are nice, but not mandatory.)
My book, Leaf, is a perfect cuddle-up-and-read book to take with you into your sanctuary. Elsie Archer's watercolor paintings are a beautiful feast for the eyes and the story touches a chord in people of all ages.
Click the image in the top, right corner to browse through Leaf and, if it feels like a fit for your sanctuary, you can order it right here or pick it up from any of the stores listed below.
